He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Tom Sr. and Katherine Tom; his grandparents, Delphine Tom (Hillaire), James Lincoln Scott and Helen Scott (Lawrence); his brothers, Lawrence "Newt" Tom Jr., Keith Tom, Johnny Tom and Randy Tom; his nieces, Lindsey Greene, Donna and Marcia Tom; his nephew Eli Wall; and his great-niece Casie Jo Tom.
He is survived by: his children, Rik Tom (Lorissa), Steven Jr., Crystal Boome (Guy), Dion Tom, Shawnee Tom, Tiadosa Tom and Vanna Tom; his grandchildren, Jayden Boome, Kate Lynn Tom, Kyran Boome and Rikkelle Tom; and his siblings, Laura Tom, Ralph Tom (Kelli), Jean Tom (Leroy), Joyce Wall (Jesse), Jerome Tom, Lorita Tom and Peter Tom (Boe). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
