It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth A Scarlett (Bellingham, Washington), born in Wenatchee, Washington, who passed away on January 10, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Bertram Armstrong and Ruth Alice Armstrong (Olsen); and her husband Howard Duane Scarlett. She is survived by: her brother Hal Armstrong (Lynne); her nieces and nephews, Brent and Meredith (Erik); her granddaughter Amy (Derek); her great grandchildren, Cooper, Parker of Zillah, Abby Slyfield (Hunter) of Ellensburg, Jake Scarlett (J. J.) of Yakima, Weston (Sam), Rachel (Bennett), Annie of Zillah, Lydia of Zillah, Isaac of Zillah, Matt Argo (Emma) of Zillah, Owen and Gillian of Ellensburg; her cousins, Betty Strand of Cowiche, Mike and Pat Wilson of Tacoma; and also, Fred Scarlett (Anna) of Ellensburg, Will Scarlett (Jill) and Karin Argo (Mike) of Zillah.
