He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella Jefferson James Sr. and Warren James Sr.; his brother Jim Jim Roger James; and his sister-in-law Donna Mae Cultee. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Barnes; his siblings, Warren James Lummi (April), Diane Paul Swinomish, Reynold Hutch James Sr. (Anita), David James Lummi (Colleen), Bruce James Swinomish (Barbara), Mary Morganroth Lummi and Joe Franzen Ferndale (Kelly); and his godmother Pat Alvarez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
