He is survived by: his former wife Bella Ruiz of Mount Vernon; his daughter Jessica (Jim) of Conway; his siblings, Louis Silva (Linda) of Oklahoma, Jose Silva of Mount Vernon, Evanjelina Silva-Bartelmey (Dale Jr.) of Mount Vernon, Angela Silva of Renton, Elizabeth Silva of Bellingham, Esther Silva-Coley (Dennis) of Los Angeles and Delia Sandoval (Ramiro) of Montebello, California; and his grandchildren, Mattisyn, Alison Caughlin of Conway and James Caughlin of Conway.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be directed to the Whatcom Hospice House.
