He was predeceased by: his parents, Gloria Hunter and Harry Cooper (Spud); his grandparents, Bob and Verlie Cooper of Nooksack; his uncle Phill Hunter; his aunt Patricia; his brother Randy Turner; and his siblings-in-law, Ed LaClair and Cherie Faye Smith.
He is survived by: his pet Shadow; his wife Pandora Traversie-Hunter; his children, Anthony Hatch, Kevin Hunter (Bern), Shannon Eagle, Shawn Wilson, Mary Lefthand, Eryn Hunter (Tony), Brianna Kelly, John Kelly, Dallas Bolyard, Sarah Finkbonner, Ellen Kaye and Julie Chase; and his sisters, Elizabeth Turner and Vicki Turner. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
