He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Magner and Earl Magner; his former wife Betty Magner; his daughter Nancy Willert; his granddaughter Tanya Davis; and his siblings, Glen Magner, Nelda Pritchard and Fay Hoggett.

He is survived by: his wife Martha Magner; his daughters, Laura Johnson (Ronald) and Kathy Cramer; his son-in-law Tom Willert; his sister Joyce Hayertz; and his stepchildren, Dick Cornelsen, Carol Cornelsen, Bruce Walker, Karen Walker, Daniel Cornelsen and Patricia Cornelsen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand-children, great grand-children and great- great grand-children.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Whatcom Hospice House.
