She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis O'Pray and Mary O'Pray (McNally); and her husband Ronald W. Pete. She is survived by: her children, James Henry McCarthy, IV (Elizabeth) of Germany, Terri McCarthy of Washington, Fran McCarthy of Carlsbad, NM and Bernadette McCarthy of New Hampshire; her stepson Alexander Pete of Utah; her close friends, Mary Ann Vietz of Bellingham and Jan Steele of Bellingham; and also, Steve and Kristin of Bellingham. She is also survived by two grandsons, one great-granddaughter.
