She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Brezden and Josephine Brezden (Kabylnick); her parents-in-law, Benton and Annie Backman (Tosseth); her sister Jeanie Shoman; and her nieces, Donna Lombardi and Cindy Sheely.
She is survived by: her husband Ray; her children, Vicki Gable (Jerry) of Rowland Heights, CA and Thomas Backman (Rosemarie) of Claremont, CA; her grandchildren, Ryan Gable (Stephanie), Ross Gable, Megan Klara (Marty) and Tab Backman; her great grandchildren, Sophia Gable and Lily Klara; her nieces, Linda Miles, Joann Welch, Denise Roe and Debra Demarco; and her nephew Rick Backman.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greenacres Chapel (5700 Northwest Dr, Ferndale, WA 98248). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Greenacres Memorial Park (5700 Northwest Dr, Ferndale, WA 98248). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cornwall Church (4518 Northwest Dr, Bellingham, WA 98226).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Service Missions Fellowship (SMF), Cornwall Church, 4518 Northwest Drive, Bellingham, WA 98226.
