He was predeceased by: his parents, Marge Scrimsher and Linwood Leighton. He is survived by: his sons, Shane, Chris (Kelli) and Casey; and his stepchildren, Carianne, Trevor (Jenny), Garett (Shay) and Jenny (Ryan). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Ferndale High School Golf Program.
