He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hammer and Orma Hammer (Adams); and his siblings, Darryl Hammer, Ada Fiamingo (Joe), Ray Hammer, Bill Hammer (Evelyn), Roberta Gorum (Fred) and Orma Latham (Clary).
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Hammer; his daughters, Faye Ann and Marola Quimby (Dan); his siblings, Howard Hammer (Dee), Dick Hammer (Margie), Nita May, Ted Hammer (Judy), Noni Ahlberg (John) and Jerry Hammer (Lurline); his grandson Brandon Minga (Pam); his great grandchild Landon Quimby; and his nephew Josh Gilliam. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
