He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Leb Milner and Bess Masinter Milner of Dallas; his wife Jeanie Bein of Bellingham, WA; his sister Hope (Merril Sobie) of Pleasantville, NY; his nephew Brendan Sobie of Singapore; his niece Rebecca (Andy Zulla); his cousins, Larry and Carol Masinter of Los Altos, CA; and also, Kaley of Phoenix, AZ, Judy Goldman of Israel, Haskel Levi of Oakland, CA, Jamie Wadell (Chris Lett), Germany, Elaine Wadell and British Columbia. He was also cherished by his daughter and 2 granddaughters.

Health issues required their move in 2020 to Bellingham, WA, where he continued to stay involved in Colorado and Washington politics, partly enabled by the Covid 19 Zoom mandates.
