He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bakker and Hilda Bakker; his stepmothers, Lena Bakker and Janette Bakker; his siblings, Dale, Darryl, Duane and Cheryl; his granddaughter Anna Grace Hulsebus; and his friend Dan Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Susan; his daughters, Amy Lathrop (Mike) and Kary Smith (Rob); his grandchildren, Gregory (Katie) and Garrett Lathrop; his brother Bruce Bakker (Barbara); his aunt Jennie Bakker; and his siblings-in-law, Margie Bakker, Vicky Visser (Ken), Steve Dodd (Linda), Phil Dodd (Carroll) and Stan Dodd (Christine). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, their families, and many close friends.
