He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Galen (Johnny) and Eva Gertrude Smedley; and his siblings, Richard Galen and Betty Summers. He is survived by: his daughter Gina Marie Galen; his wife Hazel Galen; his daughter Kim Morrow; his grandchildren, James Galen-Abbitt, Hailey McCracken, Alicia Berk-Sohn, Derek Morrow and Levi Morrow; and his great grandchildren, Tristan Galen and Maddox Galen.
