He was predeceased by: his brother Don. He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Teri (Mike Hurworth), Liana Kozlowski (Dave), Greg (Carmelita Fowler) and Kristina (Kevin Hayashi); his sisters, Doreen Deane and Marlene Cardinal; his former wife Margaret Herring; and his sister-in-law Shirley. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; one great-grandson.

To honor Gary, his family suggests doing something kind for another - whether it's volunteer work, a charitable donation, lending an ear to someone who needs it, or adopting a dog in need, you will be channeling Gary's spirit.
