She was predeceased by: her parents, Arie Sluys and Ellen Sluys; her husband Gregory Starkey; and her siblings, Bill Sluys, Edward Sluys, Eleanor Frost, June Cruson, Rhoda Sluys and James Sluys.
She is survived by: her husband Riley Poyner; her children, Gary Starkey (Janet), Marcie Rohwer (Bob) and Jill Starkey; her siblings, Ann Adele Zeiger, Vangie Bevans, Hazel Haggen and Paul Rockwell; and her former husband Gregg Starkey. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a public memorial will not be held.
