She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Lane and Sadie Celestine Lane; her husbands, Richard Ballew Sr. and William Gensaw; her daughters, Claudia Spencer and Anna Ballew; her siblings, Fran James, Bertha Lane, Ruth Boome, Glen Lane and Rena Ballew; and her grandmothers, Lizzy and Sadie Jones.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Jr. (Janet), Cathy, Timothy Sr. (Laural), Marie, Theresa, John Paul Sr. (Cesarita), Kathy Gensaw and Laurie Lucero; and her aunts, Bertha Smith and Edith Jones. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
