It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Jeanette Deaton of Bellingham, Washington, born in Queen City, Texas, who passed away on September 14, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Velma Jean Welch (Mauldin) and John Robert Welch; her siblings, Billy Robert Welch, Doris Yvonne Graham (Welch) and Mary Helen Welch-Hodges; and her son Randy.

She is survived by: her husband Odell Deaton; her sisters, Bobbye Whidden and Nancy Tribbey; her daughters, Melanie and Cindy; her grandchildren, Lisa, Brian, Madeline, Emily "Jaynie", Nicholas and Joshua; and her great grandchildren, Sonny, Abby, Craig, Jayda and Noah. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
