He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Cone and Bernice Cone (Cleary); his sister Janice Bayless; and his son Edward Cone. He is survived by: his wife Aleen; his daughters, Cindy Cone of Federal Way, WA and Alison Cone of Rancho Mirage, CA; his grandson Justin Cone (Carol) of Everett; and his great grandchildren, Russell Cone and Jordan Cone.
He retained his legendary humor through his life, recently suggesting that "In lieu of flowers, please bring a good bottle of red wine".
