She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Lawrence Sr. and Norma Jefferson; her husband Howard George Jr.; her son Howard George III; her grandparents, Joseph V., Matilda Jefferson (Peters), Micheal and Ruby Alexander Underwood (Brazil); her great-grandparents, Timothy, Sophia Jefferson (George), Peter Eso-Sos-O-Lie, Louie Underwood and John Brazil; her siblings, Patricia May LaClair, Francis Jefferson Jr., Norman Jefferson, Dana Jefferson and John "Judo" Jefferson Sr.; and her nieces and nephews, Timothy Jefferson, John Jefferson Jr., Norma Jefferson and Janet Jefferson.

She is survived by: her son Edward George; and her siblings, Mike Jefferson and Ruby Jefferson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
