He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Kurin (Johnson). He is survived by: his children, Carol A. Kurin and Kevin J. Kurin; his brother Randy; his sister-in-law Gail Kurin (Pizziola) of Ishpeming, MI; his sister Kristine Laaninen (Kurin); and his brother-in-law Bill Laaninen of Spokane, WA.. He is also survived by three nieces and three nephews.
