He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Yacht and Clara Vander Yacht; his wife Carol Vander Yacht (Zwick); his children, Kathy Hillard (Denny), Bill Vander Yacht (Debbie), Susie O'Connor (Gerald) and Bob Vander Yacht (Janine); his grandchildren, Kari, Craig, Dennis, Don, Debby (Nick), Eric, Kira (Jason), Jeff (Shara), Jana (Mike), Aaron (Kristen), Jessie and Cole; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Kelly, Abbey, Samantha, Nicholas, Jenny (Steven), Matt (My), Jacob, Seth (Kalli), Kaylea, Tanner, Bella, Mady, Kale, Logan, Blake, Nate, Dylan, Sydney, Alyssa, Kaleb, Hugo and Eoghan; his great great grandchildren, Tay and Eliza; and his grandson Joshua Vander Yacht.
