She was predeceased by: her parents, William Burt and Sarah Burt (Henderson); her husband Lyle S. Calkins; and her daughter Christine VanderYacht. She is survived by: her children, Anita Dunnigan (Patrick) and Harold Calkins; her son-in-law Dean VanderYacht; her granddaughters, Natalie Almquist (Stacey Swan), Michelle VanderYacht (Branden Zoerink), Amy Gonzalez (Dadney) and Heidi O'Ferrall; and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Rylan, Andi, Makenzie and Luka.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to SMF (Service Missions Fellowship), Cornwall Church, 4518 Northwest Drive, Bellingham, WA.
