She was predeceased by: her husband Henry "Hank" Butenschoen; her sons, Randy and Greg Butenschoen; her sisters, Evelyn Heay, Wilma Rainford and Elinor Phillips; her great grandchild Scarlett; her great great grandchild Ruth; and her parents, Remington Stevens and Pearl Stevens.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Butenschoen (Mary), Gary Butenschoen (Lisa), Cheryl Brager, Karen McKay (Scott) and Marcia Holz (Dan). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Rome Community Bible Church (2720 Mt Baker Hwy, Bellingham, WA 98226).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Whatcom Hospice, 2806 Douglas Avenue, Bellingham, WA 98225.
