Though Richard Duane may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard Duane touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen Phillips and Lloyd Colbert; his wife Barbara Jean Leach; and his children, Shannon and Sean. He was also cherished by his wife of 57 years, his two children, his three sisters, his good friends from the service, and many nieces and nephews.
