She was predeceased by: her parents, Mohammed Adem (Hanifa Minu Adem) and Joan (Joseph Edmonds). She is survived by: her siblings, Mariam, Oscar, Hedy (Kwok Tai), Mimoona and Suzanne (Michael); her children, Millie (Jeff), Cora (Phil) and Derek (Juiling); her grandchildren, Angelique, Cody (Andrea), Emily, Simon, Anna, Karina (Matt), Dima, Valeria, Jason and Amber; and her great grandchild Atlas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the St. Louise/St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank in honor of Joan Edmonds.
