He is survived by: his son Roger; his wife Dolores; his son David Ramona (Patti Steurer); his grandchildren, Marisa Fisher Brenden Fuerstenau (Adam Draude), Ben Fisher, Kellen Fuerstenau and Shaylyn Fuerstenau; and his great grandchild Leona Draude.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the last of the Lutheran churches he helped to build over his lifetime, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Vancouver, WA.
