Miles Gordon Bader Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Miles Gordon Bader (Bainbridge Island, Washington), who passed away on January 13, 2021 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his mother Arlene Bader; his siblings, Laura Bader and Graham Bader; his siblings-in-law, Vic Sturm and Lida Oukaderova; and his nieces and nephews, Ben Sturm, Leo Bader, Lida Sturm and Sasha Bader.
He subsequently worked at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, the Free Software Foundation in Boston, and ultimately found his way to Japan, where he lived for 20 years.
