She is survived by: her husband Tom Lauer; her sister Jill Schatz; her children, Kirsten Lauer Karahan, Nathan Lauer and Matthew Lauer; her grandchildren, Teo Karahan, Hung, Elizabeth Lauer, Max and Michael Lauer; her niece Adrienne; and her nephew Dave Schatz.
