He was predeceased by: his fathers, Keith Wiggs and Jesse Wiggs (Childers); his wife Charlotte; his siblings, Wayne (Myrtle) and Doris (Mac); and his brother-in-law George Childress, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, James M. Wiggs, Jr (Jay) and Lisa Wiggs McMinn; his son-in-law Bruce McMinn; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Wiggs, Kelley Ann McMinn, Jordan McMinn (Mike Spiegel) and Austin McMinn; his great grandchild Clara Wiggs-Maas; and his former husband Jim. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
