He is survived by: his wife Claire; his children, Cathy McCarthy (Michael), Jay Henning (Cindy), Mike Henning, Matt Henning (Meredith) and Chris (Ali); his grandchildren, Brendan, Doyle McCarthy (Lauren), Chelsea, Carley, Jack Henning, Devon Henning, Emma, Benjamin, Elijah, Gabriel Henning, Nick and Cate Henning; and his great grandchild Christopher. He is also survived by his two brothers and two sisters.

Jim and his wife, Claire, traveled the world together until the pandemic prevented them from doing so.
