It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Blees (Bainbridge Island, Washington), who passed away on November 7, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Bernice departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Bernice. Though Bernice may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Motzkus and Frieda Motzkus (Hilflicker); her brothers, William and Robert; her son Robert; and her granddaughter Leann.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Blees, Sharon Kepley (Thomas), Donna Lopez and Betty Blees. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
