She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John MacEwan Ellis and Dorothy Lyles Corson; her siblings, Elizabeth (Liddy), John and William; her husband John Hare Powel; her son Jake (Pamela); her grandchildren, Liza O'Brien (Conan) and Sarah Rougier (Franck); her children, Michael, Dorothy and Babe (Larry); her great great grandchild Lars Bindner; and also, Maggie, Mildie, Alan, Margi, Douglas, Jeffrey (Fran), Emma, Gregory Powel (Lauren) and Melissa Powel.
An August 14th celebration with ice cream, cookies and chocolates – her favorite food groups – will be held in the summer as Covid phases allow.
