She was predeceased by: her husband Herman T. Bruce; her son Flanoy S.; and her son-in-law Brian E. Jackson. She is survived by: her children, Vivian R. Bruce-Jackson of Springfield, VA, Bernell V. Bruce (Pamela) of Auburn, WA, Sheldon C. Bruce of Seattle, WA and Baxter G. Bruce of Wichita, KS; and her sisters, Amy Cullom of Muskogee, OK and Helen Cullom of Muskogee, OK. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
