She was predeceased by: her parents, Sutejiro Saito and Koshige Saito (Fujiwara); her spouse Matsuo Sakagami; and her siblings, Kiku Konishi, Kaichi Saito and Chiyo Saito.
She is survived by: her sister June Kosai; and her daughters, Sandra Cheng and Nancy Fye. She is also survived by four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
