He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Riggs and Violet C Riggs of Fremont. He is survived by: his spouse Lou Ann Riggs; his children, Greg (Shari Riggs), Jeff (Gerry Riggs), Melissa Frederick (George Ilgenfritz), Randy (Rosalind Riggs) and Virginia Riggs; and his sister Lavonne Erdan of Fremont Nebraska. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
He also donated time to the HOPE Meals for Kids Backpack Program loading and delivering weekly food packs for 250 children at local schools.
