He was predeceased by: his brother Charles. He is survived by: his wife Joanette Marie Gauthier; his children, Brian and Julie (Robert DeWard); his grandsons, Benjamin and Drew; and his siblings, Earl Soushek, Anna Nicholas, Robert Soushek, Mary Johnson, Edith Carter, Tom Evans and Rose Evans.

During his life he helped hundreds of people with his creations, materials and donations.
