He was predeceased by: his parent John. He is survived by: his grandmother Greenfield; his wife Maxine; and his children, Doug (Cindy), Greg (Brenda) and Nancy (Chuck). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Donations in Roland's name may be made to the Anacortes Lutheran Church or to the Kiwanis Noon Club.
