It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Bricka (Anacortes, Washington), born in Binghamton, New York, who passed away on August 31, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Gordon, Bonita Reilly, Virginia Gordon, Stewart, Perry and Frank; and her niece Elizabeth Gordon.
She is survived by: her daughter Sarah (Sally); her grandsons, John David and Michael George; her grandmother Ama; her grandsons, John Drummond of Sedro-Woolley, Michael Drummond of Sedro-Woolley and Blake Gurney of Pullman; and her nieces and nephews, Jon Gordon (Arlene) of Lacrosse, WA, Roger Gordon (Maryanne) of Spokane and Stephanie Forshag (Don) of Spokane.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Brian Gurney Memorial Scholarship under the auspices of the Burlington-Edison Alumni Foundation.
