He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Garity (Bigelow) and Richard Garity; and his sister Darhyl Ann LeCount (Wightman). He is survived by: his siblings, Janice Sterneckert (Wightman) and Doug Garity; his nephews, Brian Jex (Kathleen), Brad Jex (Priscilla) and Mike Jex (Kim); and his niece Diane Jex Robie (Dave).
