He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Howard and Patricia Ann Shofner (Medley); his wife Jean Shofner; and his brother Russel Shofner. He is survived by: his daughter Sarabeth (Patrick Delozier) of Olympia; his brothers, Eric Shofner of Aberdeen and Marlin "Mickey" (Vivian Shofner); his nieces and nephews, Nicole Shofner, Steven Shofner, Hannah Shofner and Marlin "JR" Shofner; and his parents-in-law, Joan Julius, Jack and Carol McPherson. He is also survived by several nieces, great nieces, great nephews and other relatives.
