He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Pekola and Gertrude Stannek Pekola; and his great grandchild Alexander Martinez (Norma). He is survived by: his children, Trudy (Steve) and Terry (Connie). He is also survived by five grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
A private family graveside service will be held at this time due to Covid-19 restrictions, and a public memorial service will be held at a later date as restrictions are lifted.
