It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lee Russell Mayes (Aberdeen, Washington), born in Valley Mills, Texas, who passed away on April 20, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Elden Mayes (Pete) and Mae Mayes (Bridges); his wife Olga Davis Johnson; his siblings, Roy Elden Mayes, William Sylvester Mayes, Clarence Elden Mayes, Jr., Peggy Jo Little, Viola Louise Hodges and Betty Johnston (Brinson); his stepdaughter Dixie Johansen; and his grandson John Mayes.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Mayes (Nancy) of Wexford, PA and Patty Beach (Miles) of Ocean Shores, WA; and his stepdaughters, Susan Dolacky (David) of Edmonds, WA and Kris Romberg (Bob) of Arlington, WA. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
