It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Wayne M. Thompson (Woodstock, Vermont), who passed away at the age of 83, on October 28, 2024. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Wayne is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Wayne's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rachel Thompson (Watt) and Merton E. Thompson; and his sisters, Elaine Thompson Rutherford and Jean Thompson Witchekowski. He is survived by: his cousins, Ann Richardson of Hartland and Dean Jillson of Woodstock; his nephew Scott; and his niece Dawn.
A graveside service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at the Hartland Village Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the North Chapel (7 South St, Woodstock, VT 05091).
