He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl LaMountain and Florice Best LaMountain Trachier (Best); his stepfather Maurice Trachier; his sister Louise Trachier Maville; and his aunts and uncles, Joyce Best Motschman, Helen Best Hatch, Ralph Best, Clifford Best and Floyd Best.
He is survived by: his cousin Marilyn Best; his wife Clydene; his children, Gary Trachier (Ione) of Hartland and Andrea Trachier Ambros (Theodore) of Hartland; his grandson Marshall Ambros (Megan); his great grandchildren, Asher, Ingrid and Gordon of Wisconsin; his granddaughter Alexandra Ambros of Oregon; and his children, Nancy LaMountain Richard (Kevin) of Indiana, Shirley Tullar (Wayne) of Lyme, NH and Robert LaMountain (Alice) of East Thetford, VT. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
