A candle has been lit

“I moved from the Woodstock area years ago and thus didn’t know Makenna; but I am the mother of twins born prematurely and my cousin lost one of her infant twins. Still, I cannot fully comprehend your absolutely heartbreaking loss. I send condolences every hour of every day to support you in bearing the unbearable. May Makenna’s baby soul surround your home with love. May her precious spirit burn bright in your hearts. Know that strangers far away sincerely grieve with you and wish you healing.”

Nancy Pedrick wrote a sympathy message

“I am only 13 but I was neighbors with Makenna and I spent the entire school day staring at the walls, with my eyes watering because they were talking about twins. She was my favorite neighbor and this hits me deep. It hurts when you loose someone who you loved with all of your heart. I miss seeing her in the stroller with her sister, being pushed around by her grandfather(who is also my neighbor), i would say “Hi” and she would always smile. Her smile made me and everyone else feel warm inside.”

Nancy Pedrick wrote a comment

“To add on to what I was saying because I ran out of room. But she made me smile. She is the cutest thing in the world and it just hurts. It hurts so badly. Her bright and curious eyes filled my day with endless wonder. Her shining smile made me feel at peace. Her big heart made me feel loved when she laughed. She meant so much to me and Amber(Grandmother), James(Grandfather), Sage(Mom) and Logan(Dad). We will never forget her. She lives within our hearts, mind and souls.”

Nancy Pedrick wrote a comment

“May the little angel rest in paradise. She was a dove, a beautiful, graceful dove, sent down from the heavens, I guess we all come and go but some, just too soon. If you are going to her Ceremony, I’m going to try to go so ask around for a Samantha Pedrick if you wanted to talk to me. Please remember that I’m only 13 and I don’t consider myself a part of Makenna’s life, but I consider her a part of mine. She was the sweetest little girl, she reminded me of myself when I was 2 or 3.”

Nancy Pedrick wrote a comment

“A mind full of Adventure and a heart full of love. I can never erase her laugh. It echoes in my mind and I think I speak for all that knew her that she still lives within us. Her heart was bigger then any little girls I’ve ever met. Who could forget her? She has a special place with us all. We love you Makenna. See you one day, when we are reunited in the clouds. -Sammi”
