He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandfather Scottish; his parents, Walter Hunter and Maude Hunter; his wife Ruth Laura Glazier Hunter; his sister Janet Lee Bender (Richard); his parents-in-law, Mary Lu, Charles Mathis, Bruce and Louise Glazier; his children, John David Hunter (JoAnn Coates-Hunter), Emily Lucille Hunter (Mathew Patterson), Edward Allen Hunter and Amy Elizabeth Hunter; and his grandchildren, Sadie Jane Hunter, Samuel Hartt Hunter, Hannah Ruth Hunter Patterson, Iris Montgomery Hunter Patterson, Jordan Tamura Rose and Margaret Isabel Hunter. He was also cherished by five nieces and three nephews.
