He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Victor and Anna Elaine Giroux (Copas). He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Sean and Meghan Giroux of Bristol; and his siblings, Robert, Liz Philbrick of Fairhope, Rev. William Giroux of Fairfield, Steve, Mary Giroux of Palmetto, James Giroux of San Francisco, Patty, Assaf of Redlands, John and Dr. Andrew Giroux of Winter Haven. He is also survived by twelve great nieces and nephews.
