He was predeceased by: his parents, Napoleon C. Duell and Florence Duell (Brunelle); his siblings, Donald "Ducky" Duell, Marilyn Myers (Duell) and Nancy Duell; and his nephews, Donald "Chip" Duell Jr. and John Myers.
He is survived by: his children, Melinda Sortor (Travis) of Savannah, GA, Ryan Duell (Elaine) of Columbus, OH, Heidi Vaillancourt (Dave) of Colchester, VT and Eliza Redmond of Tampa, FL.; his nieces and nephews, Kim and David Duell; and his grandchildren, Mason Blondin, Harper, Riley Sortor, Isabella, Reid and Kennedy Duell.
