He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Dion and Rollande Dion (Fay); his brother Valere Dion; his nephews, Thomas Dion and Stephen Dion; and his siblings-in-law, Theodore Jones (Ted), Sally Dion and Raymond Beauchemin.
He is survived by: his wife Julie (Mercure); his daughter Lizabeth Dion; his grandchildren, Emilio Cardinale and Alessandro Cardinale; his daughter Rebecca Dion-Smith (Aaron Smith); his grandson Samuel Smith; his daughter Jennifer Dion Stearns (Donald); his granddaughters, Evelyn Stearns and Eliza Stearns; and his siblings, Jeannine Beauchemin and Raymond Dion (Ray). He is also survived by extended family, including a plethora of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, many nieces and nephews, and many close cousins and friends.
