It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Hammond of Winooski, Vermont, born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on February 24, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Janet Agnes Hammond (McGlone) and Floyd Merton Hammond. She is survived by: her brothers, John (Sylvia Heath) and Joseph Hammond (JoAnn).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sisters of Mercy in support of their ministerial works.
